Regional Child Care Home Consultant
Responsible to oversee the work of the Local Home Consultants in 22 counties in Northwest Iowa. A bachelor’s degree is required in an Early Childhood related field. Knowledge of in-home child care is helpful. Previous supervisory experience is necessary and budget and/or financial responsibility beneficial. The ability to work successfully with other agencies and individuals is required. Some travel is required. Reliable transportation, proof of insurance and a valid driver’s license is necessary. The work of the Regional Child Care Home Consultant has the ability to greatly increase the quality of in-home child care. This position is based in Remsen, 40 hours per week and has an excellent benefit package.
Nurse Consultant
For Child Care Resource & Referral Program. Position is based in Sioux City. Full-time, eligible for benefits. Registered Nurse with current Iowa licensure required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position will provide guidance, training, coordination and support to community-based child care businesses to promote safe and healthy child care environments for all children. Position open until filled.
